Thinking hard about my Leicester future

Upload main image here:
I´m back at Leicester at the moment after completing my loan spell at Cheltenham Town and now I´m taking some time to make up my mind about what to do next. There is an option to go back to Cheltenham and it´s a big possibility.

I love it at Leicester and it´s a massive club but to be honest I can´t see too many opportunities opening up for me here. Football is all about opinions and at the moment it would appear that I´m not in the manager´s plans. I´m old enough and big enough to take it on the chin. You have to accept things in this game and there´s no point moaning because it never gets you anywhere. I train and work hard and that´s all I can do.

I was sent off in my last game for Cheltenham against Peterborough and I have a four match ban so I have a bit of time to think…

It was a bit disappointing to be sent off in that game and to be honest I thought it was a bit harsh. I´ve always been a hard but fair player and I don´t think there was anything in the challenge. I definitely didn´t mean it to be malicious but one of their lads came in and it escalated.

I have to say that they are a great bunch of lads at Cheltenham and I´ve been enjoying my time there. They helped me to settle in straight away. Martin Allen is a very good manager to work for, he´s quite different from other managers I´ve had and I´ve enjoyed it. He knows exactly what he wants from his team and he´s moulding it to the shape he wants. We had a decent run of results while I was there and I´d be happy to go back.

I just need to sort out a few things at Leicester before I make that decision. Things are going brilliantly and the boys are in high spirits. The job is half done and I can easily see the club getting promotion. There´s a lot of confidence about the place.

I love playing football and my next decision will have to be based on the opportunities I´ll have to get time on the pitch. I would be sad to leave Leicester but it´s good to know that I have another very good option.

Cheers and I´ll let you know what I decide very soon.
